How Does it Work?
Coral Cane is a complete coral food that contains phytoplankton, zooplankton, and natural food sources. It is adsorbed with all of the ingredients in our Bio-Enhance without containing excess unwanted nutrients, binders or fillers. It has a range of particle sizes, large enough for mouths, but fine enough for polyps, which makes it suitable for all types of coral. Use the scoop and activator (both included) to accurately measure Coral Cane and increase bioavailability.
Whatās in Coral Cane?
Coral Cane comes with a free spoon and activator that are separate from the food. This helps you avoid getting the product on your hands and fingers when fishing them out. This complete food solution contains over 110 ingredients including:
- Free-form amino acids, vitamins, carbohydrates, fatty acids and protein
- Cellular bound amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, carbohydrates, fatty acids, and protein

WhatāsĀ NotĀ In It
This coral food has no fillers, binders, excess nutrients, or toxic preservatives. It wonāt have a negative impact on your skimmer; you can leave it on as it contains natural ingredients that temporarily lower skimming to allow corals more time to consume it. This means less food is wasted, which in turn is less wasted money. In addition, it keeps your aquarium well oxygenated, which stabilizes pH, alkalinity and improves overall health. Itās Not Just About Food
Ensuring your corals are receiving enough nutrition is very important for overall health and growth. Corals can only consume approximately 80-88% of their required nutrition via zooxanthella. We have to supplement the other 12-20% through direct feeding. If growth is a major goal in your tank, you should also ensure your corals are receiving enough aragonite to help build strong reef structures.
Dosing:
The following dosage recommendations are per 100L, feeding twice per week:
Lightly StockedĀ = Ā½ scoop
Moderately StockedĀ = Ā¾ scoop
Heavily StockedĀ = 1 scoop
You can target feed Coral Cane or broadcast it evenly into your aquarium.
To target feed, mix the required amount with 10ml of tank water per scoop; use the activator to crush it up and increase the bioavailability of the food. Then turn off all the flow in the tank and use a pipette or baster to target feed your corals. Allow thirty minutes for feeding.
To broadcast feed, mix the required amount with 100ml of water per scoop; break it up with the activator and then turn off the return pump and pour the solution in front of the wavemaker. Cut the flow down to half speed and allow it to feed for thirty minutes.
